Massive Compilation of Cartoon Intros

Among 1980’s cartoon theme segments found in Volume 1, you’ll find: He-Man, She-Ra, Inspector Gadget, Ghostbusters (with the ape), The Real Ghostbusters (with the movie tune), BraveStarr (reminds me of “Planet Texas” by Kenny Rogers), Heathcliff and Marmaduke, Heathcliff (argh get that song out of my head), Gilligan’s Planet (sounds like a few original voices), Voltron, Mighty Orbots, Danger Mouse, Duck Tales (the trumpets playing when the alien laughs is a nice touch), Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, The Littles, Pac-Man, Captain N The Gamemaster (NES-based), Super Mario Brothers Super Show (live-action hosts), Super Mario Brothers Super Show (all animated, same rap song), The Legend of Zelda, Thundarr The Barbarian, GI Joe (gives me goosebumps!), Transformers (starts with blue grid), Transformers (starts in space), Challenge of the Gobots, Beetlejuice, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (starts with moonscape), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (starts with sewer), The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show (not the famous theme), Dungeons & Dragons (party gets their powers), Dungeons & Dragons (party well established, with Voltron narrator), and Blackstar. In Volume 2 are a bunch of repeats except for Battle of the Planets, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Thundercats, Teenage Mutant *Hero* Turtles (Mikey is missing his nunchakus, shown in the UK, “Splinter taught them to be fighting teens”) and The Trap Door. In Volume 3 comes Ulysses 31, Pole Position, Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears, Roobarb & Custard, Count Duckula, Action Force (“International Heroes”, Foreign version of GI Joe, similar lyrics), Denver The Last Dinosaur, and Silverhawks. In Volume 4 we find Jem, The Mysterious Cities of Gold (an all-time fav!), Spiderman and His Amazing Friends, Jim Henson’s Muppet Babies, My Little Pony, The Racoons, and Dogtanian. In the fifth volume of 80s intros, we see C.O.P.S. (yes, an animated series), Wuzzles, Ovide Video, Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers, Dennis The Menace, Teddy Ruxpin, The Simpsons (started in 1989, has some atypical footage). Part 6 continues with Chuck Norris Karate Kommandos, Mr.T, Around The World With Willy Fog, Dino-Riders, Galaxy High, The Snorks, Spiral Zone, Transformers (starts with a giant head from a green grid), and The Get Along Gang.

As if that wasn’t enough nostalgia, there’s also cartoon intros from the 1990’s. In Volume 1 comes Batman The Animated Series, Animaniacs, Beavis and Butthead, Fantastic Four, Swat Cats, The Adventures of He-Man (unusual version), Bucky O’Hare, Spider-Man (with 3D city), Pokemon, Superman (drawn like Batman), Dexter’s Laboratory, and Duckman. Volume 2 brings Gargoyles, Samuri Pizza Cats (their spelling), King of the Hill, Rocko’s Modern Life, South Park, Dr. Zitbag’s Pet Shop, Sonic The Hedgehog, Aahh! Real Monsters, The Tick, Angry Beavers, Spongebob Squarepants, and Family Guy. Volume 3 presents us with Sharky & George, Back To The Future, Goof Troop, James Bond Jr, Zorro, Talespin (a favorite), Highlander, Pinky & The Brain, Prince Valiant, Dragonball Z (quite possibly my topmost favoritest cartoon ever).

Lastly comes a 2000’s decade cartoon intro set, featuring Sonic X, X-Men Evolution, Transformers Cybertron, TMNT, Spider-Man, Justice League, Fantastic Four, Beyblade, Duck Dodgers, My Dad The Rock Star, and Camp Lazlo.
